Well day one Is in the books and it really wore me out. I had nothing left in the tank when we got back to the hotel last night. Denise fell right asleep, I did a treatment and then woke her up to go get some food. We walked across the street to get some strombolli that was excelent I might add. Then grabbed a frozen yogurt at a place called Sprinkles, also quite good. Then treatment and slept like a baby till this morning.
Testing begins today at 9:00, but at least I get one day reprieve from fasting this morning. Starbucks here I come! Always remember people triple venti whole milk white mocha (they usually add the fourth shot for free). Enjoy your day all! I will blog on details of individual tests once this is over.
Snow outside less than an inch i think...

Starbucks - check! Only .2 miles from the Shereton on Chestnut where we're staying! I placed our order and ended up with a decaf. Guy made another one with go go juice and gave me the decaf too! Now sitting in waiting room while Jim gets CXR, DEXA Scan and CT Scan.. Back is killing me from hauling all our bags through the hosp all day yesterday. Packed MUCH lighter today. :). At 1:00 is PFT's and blood gas; then done for the day. Yippee!!! Hoping that we can rest up enough so we can go to the Franklin Institute to see the exhibit about the human body. The past 20 years , between being a medical underwriter, my health issues and Jim's health issues, I have learned quite a bit about the human body. It is such an amazing thing!!
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law, brother and Dad are taking good care of the dogs and cats at home! If any of you guys are reading this "THANK YOU, THANK YOU"!!!!!!
Denise
Keep us up to date! I am curious what his PFT's and blood gas levels are.

He just went in for the cardiac cath. Should be about 45 min. Don't know yet how long we have to stay after the test. Apparently 4-6 hours. Can't wait to be home. Today finally caught up with me and I had a bit of a breakdown. It's been a looonnnggg 3 days! Back to work tomorrow unless Jim needs me of course.
